Inventothon is a unique kind of hackathon which was organized globally by Little Inventors for kids starting from 6 years. In the event, kids competed to create the best project based on the skills they had learnt in their Little Inventors classes. Before the commencement of the event the regular classes of the kids became project-based. The trainers acted as mentors and helped them to come up with their own solutions to problems. The trainers did not spoon-feed the kids, but instead they provided technical assistance when needed. This allowed the kids to develop their own independent problem-solving skills.
The projects were judged on a number of factors, including creativity, innovation, and technical execution by a panel of PhDs and renowned experts in the technical field. The winners of the Inventothon received prizes and gifts, and their projects were featured on the Little Inventors website. The Inventothon was a great opportunity for kids to showcase their creativity and innovation, and the regular classes provided kids with the skills they need to become the next generation of STEM leaders.
